This NGL seminar in Geochemistry was a one-day meeting with presentations mainly from PhD students focusing on geochemical issues at Äspö, Laxemar and Forsmark.

The presenters included:

Henrik Drake – fresh mineral precipitates on borehole equipment
Lindsay Krall – Uranium in the Forsmark bedrock
Changxun Yu – Fe-isotope fractionation in bedrock fractures at Äspö and Laxemar
Sara Grolander – Metal partitioning between water and solids in the surface system
Isabelle Dubois – metal-sorption dynamics on granitoids
Olga Maskenskaya – Fractionation of rare earth elements in hydrothermal systems

The seminar was held at Äspö, in the big hall next to the reception, from 10:00 to 16:00.
